Heritage League Individual Wrestling Championships

Jonah Rudner and Yonatan Goldman both finish first in their weight class

HERITAGE LEAGUE INDIVIDUAL WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIPS
 
The two wrestlers that have comprised the team this season excelled at the Heritage League Individual Championships, both finishing at the top of their weight classes in the league. Jonah Rudner pinned his opponent in the final during the third period to finish on top of the podium of the heavyweight class. Yonatan Goldman did the same in the first period of his championship match to the claim the 106-pound title. Rudner and Goldman will both be representing de Toledo at the CIF Wrestling Individual Championships in San Bernardino on February 8 and 9. The two wrestlers picked up the sport at the beginning of the season and impressed their coach and their opponents from the first match on. The championship title is the perfect culmination for the two, who have grown from novices to champions in little time.
