The Jaguars opened their season against a mighty opponent in Pacifica Christian, dropping the match 0-3. The team’s best run came in the final set with Zev Fagan serving from the back line. de Toledo scored five straight points in the set during Fagan’s turn, forcing Pacifica Christian to call a timeout between the 14th and 15th points. The Jaguars improved in each set: 10 points in the first, 16 points in the second, and 17 points in the third.
