Boys Varsity Volleyball drops their final home game, 1-3

Boys Varsity Volleyball (4-12 overall, 2-4 league)

de Toledo 1 - Oakwood 3 (23-25, 13-25, 25-21, 16-25)

After celebrating seniors Zev Fagan and Miles Siegel’s contributions to the program at their final home game on Senior Day, the Jaguars pushed Oakwood to four sets, but were unable to claim the victory. The two teams opened with an even set, with the teams trading off points before Oakwood finished it off starting at the 23rd point. Oakwood carried that effort into the second set, this time handling de Toledo, 13-25. The Jaguars kept the match alive in the third set through a great defensive display, not allowing the Oakwood outside hitters’ attempts to go untouched. de Toledo did not go on any extensive point runs in the set, but instead relied on their consistency through the set to separate from the Gorillas. The team looked to carry over their inspired play to the fourth set, however, Oakwood, through a series of four-plus point runs, ended the match.

Boys Varsity Tennis (4-6 overall, 2-5 league)
