de Toledo Caps Off an Undefeated League Championship

Jaguars rack up their second consecutive league championship

The Jaguars captured their second straight Independence League Championship, and first outright championship, sacking Pacifica Christian, the league’s second place team, in four sets on Wednesday night. de Toledo, currently ranked as the #9 team in the CIF-SS Division 8 poll, has not lost a match since early-September. During this run, the team went unscathed in league play with a pristine 10-0 record and won the annual Milken Dig Pink Volleyball Tournament for the first time in program history. The Jaguars have outscored their opponents 43-12 in sets won over the course of the season and have won 10 matches by a perfect 3-0 score.  

de Toledo now claims the #1 seed out of the Independence League for the playoffs. The playoff brackets will be released on Saturday, October 19th at noon. The Wildcard Round takes place on Tuesday, October 22 and the First Round is on Thursday, October 24.
