After pitching in the major leagues for the Arizona Diamondbacks, former MLB reliever Mike Schultz has returned to his San Fernando Valley roots with a new mission: building elite baseball talent at de Toledo High School—and proving that Jewish identity and top-tier athletics can thrive together.
The de Toledo interscholastic athletic program promotes fostering a lifelong commitment to physical activity and healthy competition through the lens of Jewish and communal values. This humanistic approach encourages our student-athletes to become the best version of themselves through perseverance, selflessness, citizenship, and leadership that carries them forward in life.
