Medical Science Academy
The de Toledo Medical Science Academy is a three-year specialized course of study encompassing college preparatory academics, lab work, surgery internships, and international medical missions for students interested in pursuing careers in medicine or nursing.
There is a formal application process.
Course content includes:
- Introduction to Medical Science (10th Grade)
- Scientific Research Methods (11th Grade)
- Minimum 40 Medical Assisting Hours (11th Grade)
- Minimum 40 Medical Assisting Hours (12th Grade)
Located in the San Fernando Valley portion of the City of Los Angeles in Northern Los Angeles County. de Toledo High School is accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and Builders of Jewish Education (BJE,) and financially supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles and the Jim Joseph Foundation.
