dTHS Track & Field Star Signs College Letter of Intent

de Toledo High School, a college-preparatory Jewish High School located in West Hills, hosted an official College Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 for senior Nathan E. (‘25).
 
During the ceremony, Nathan officially signed a letter of intent to bring his athletic talents in Track & Field (pole vaulting) to Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts starting in Fall 2025.

Nathan is a highly decorated pole vaulter, having been crowned with the CIF-SS Division 4 Championship in pole vaulting in both 2024 and 2025.

In addition to being the top-ranked Division 4 pole vaulter, as well as 6th in all of CIF-SS, and 20th in the State of California, Nathan also won this year’s Don Green Memorial Invitational while setting both a meet and personal record. 

Nathan Epstein’s commitment to signing for Northeastern University is the first D1 Track & Field commitment in de Toledo school history.

"As a former coach and proud Head of School, I am  always impressed by the determination and grit of our student-athletes,” said Mark Shpall, de Toledo’s Head of School.  “After having 22 of our student-athletes win First Team all-league honors this year, it’s now especially exciting to celebrate the first D1 track & field commitment in our school’s history.”
