Max Cohn & Leo Emanuel Garner Heritage League Individual Titles
Two Jaguar grapplers prove to be best in league in their respective weight classes
Max Cohn and Leo Emanuel reigned supreme at the Heritage League Finals, besting their opponents in the 145-pound and 138-pound weight classes, respectively. Cohn edged his adversary in his final match by a microscopic 6-4 score to be crowned a champion. Emanuel, on the other hand, pounded his rival in an absolute bashing, 9-1, to take home the title in his first year in the league. Coach Bairos commented on the great promise shown by the young Jaguars with a sophomore and a freshman coming home with the championship. Senior leader Nelson Holo was the runner-up in the 126-pound class, unable to overtake an outstanding Faith Baptist grappler.
