de Toledo 38 - Archer 13
After losing the opening game of the tournament to Milken, the Jaguars dropped the second game to Archer in its closest margin of the season. Lulu Marsh continues to attack the hoop for easy buckets, while Maia Chameides takes over the low post position with effective post moves. Rachel Epstein played a sensational second half of the game, of which Coach Lupo remarked that particular half being her best of the season. Sarah Goldstein played a shifty game, changing speeds and direction in a heartbeat to beguile the defenders. de Toledo 0 - Grace Brethren 8
The Jaguars ran into a talented Grace Brethren team on Tuesday that put up a season-high eight goals on the de Toledo keepers. The early and often hole proved too daunting for the Jaguars to escape from, as the team went down 0-4 during the first half before being outscored by the same amount in the second half. As a young team, they are sure to see their bumps and bruises as they traverse through the schedule, but along the way, the team will learn how to rebound from such losses and return to the next game refocused and revitalized.
