Boys Varsity Volleyball comes back against Vasquez, but drops fifth set.

Boys Varsity Volleyball (1-5 overall, 1-1 league)

de Toledo 2 - Vasquez 3 (17-25, 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 7-15)

Down two sets to start the game, de Toledo climbed back into the match, inching past Vasquez in the third set to extend the evening. The Jaguars ended up winning the fourth set to send it to the decisive fifth one, but were not able to capitalize on their momentum in the fifth. Even though de Toledo dropped the first two sets, they were at level or ahead of Vasquez in the middle of both sets, but Vasquez put on a charge to ultimately take them. In the third and fourth set, the Jaguars took advantage of being up in the middle of the sets and did not relinquish the lead as they had done earlier.

Boys Varsity Baseball (6-4 overall, 3-3 league)

de Toledo 0 - Buckley 10 (F/5)

de Toledo was looking to avenge their three-run loss against Buckley from earlier in the week, but instead faced their worst run-differential loss of the season, 10-0. The Griffins got off to a hot start, scoring half of their runs in the top of the first. The Jaguars had a difficult time escaping the deficit, facing a strong pitcher who no-hit de Toledo through the five innings he pitched.
