Introducing Prospective Students to "Master Class Day" at dTHS

For the first time ever, de Toledo High School held yesterday on campus a unique Master Class Day for prospective new students (in the 6th grade and above).

This was an unbelievable opportunity for students with a particular interest in either theatre, robotics, or medical science to receive one-on-one instruction from three of our school's most dynamic instructors:
  • Michael Rayhan, Director of the dTHS Medical Science Academy
  • William Cornell, dTHS Robotics Advisor
  • Raymond Saar, Director of Theatre

Participants in the Medical Science Master Class were able to work alongside a board-certified physician to learn suturing techniques.

Students who opted for the Robotics Master Class joined our school’s current robotics team members to learn how to build a competitive robot from the ground up.

And for teenagers with a keen interest in performing arts, our inimitable Director of Theatre, Raymond Saar, led them on an interactive journey through developing a stage character, mastering audition techniques, and honing the craft of storytelling.

All in all, this was a super fun and educational day for all who took part, providing a firsthand view of what de Toledo's award-winning programs are all about.
